The Gucci brand, established in the early 20th century in Florence,
first specialized in saddles and leather goods. It's iconic
bamboo-handled leather bag debuted in 1947—preceding the brand trademark
in 1950--and featured the original red-striped webbing and saddle
girth.
Durable, tumultuous and strong, Gucci was revitalized in 2000 by
Tom Ford and infused by the vision of creative director Frida Giannini
in 2004. From the Jackie "O" shoulder bag to the Gucci logo, the brand
boasts a livery of perfumes and colognes with a classic, enduring tale,
