This Milan-based fashion house--named for designers Domenico Dolce and
Stefano Gabbana--has beeg wooing fashionistas since 1985. What many
don't know?
There are actually two central lines within the brand, both
of which house fragrances: There's Dolce&Gabbana, the very chic-chic
items we lust after, and also D&G, a newer, more casual line aimed
at a much younger demographic.
The company's first fragrance
(Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme) won the International Perfume Academies
award for "Best Women's Fragrance" in 1993, and the many sexy scents
that have followed (Light Blue, D&G Feminine, The One, etc.) have
seen equal success.
